Explore the City

Various sights in the HafenCity District are all within a short walking distance. Strolling through the Speicherstadt, the world's largest warehouse district (and a UNESCO'S world cultural heritage), gives you the chance to catch some of Hamburg's spirit. Hamburg is home to a variety of museums, such as the Speicherstadt Museum and the International Maritime Museum, but also boasts other attractions such as the Minaturwunderland (a permanent exhibition featuring the largest model railway in the world), Dialogue in the Dark, and the Hamburg Dungeon, where you can take a journey through the city's dark history. The city's new icon and concert hall, the Elbphilharmonie, is a 15 minute walk from the venue. Besides its breathtaking interior and exterior, the Elbphilharmonie also has a public viewing platform, at 37 meters above the ground, which offers a 360° view of the harbour and the city.
